Soko Beauty

About Soko

Korea is big. Soko is the curated version.

We're not another K-beauty store. We're a small team obsessed with what actually works — and how few products you really need to look like you woke up with eight hours of sleep.

Korean skincare bottles

The story

It started with six bottles in a suitcase.

In 2024, our founder flew to Seoul for a 48-hour business meeting and came back with six bottles that changed her skin in two weeks. When she tried to buy them in Europe — they weren't there. When she asked friends which brand to order — everyone had a different answer and nobody was sure.

Soko was born out of that confusion. Not as another online shop selling everything in a row. But as an editorial — a place where a real person has tested every product, spoken with a dermatologist, asked dozens of Korean women for advice, and finally said: "Yes, this is worth it."

Today we work directly with a handful of brands in Seongsu and Hongdae. No middlemen. No warehouse in Poland. The products you see here are the same ones we ordered for our own bathroom six months ago.

What drives us forward

Four rules we don't break.

Clean, not marketing

No parabens, sulphates, synthetic fragrance, or oxybenzone. Not because it's trendy — because your skin barrier will thank us.

Proven in clinic

Every product has a clinical study or dermatologist-tested certification. We skip the "sensation of hydration" promises and look for real numbers.

Straight from the source

We work directly with brands in Seoul. That means fresher batches, better prices for you, and the option to ask the formulator personally before reordering.

Care after the sale

Every order ships with a handwritten routine card — three steps specific to the products you chose. Free. No upsells.

Curation

Out of 1000 products we pick 50.

We test around a thousand new formulas a year. Less than 5% make it to the shop. The rest stay in our bathrooms as "experience".

5%

of products tested actually make it onto Soko
